Expert personnel required in the management or production and technology areas of foreign-capital invested companies may receive a visa for the status of sojourn of corporate investment (D-8) from the competent Korean embassy or consulate and receive entry permission to stay in the Republic of Korea.

Foreign investors with the corporate investment (D-8) status of sojourn may subscribe to national health insurance and get a domestic driver's license by just taking an aptitude test.
